January Handmade Heartfelt Wool Appliqué Banner Pattern
A little Winter Sparkle to make the season bright.
I have a huge hydrangea outside my studio window that has grown to a tree-like size. Every year it is simply packed full of blooms that dry and stay in place all fall and winter. They fade to a lovely off-white color. When the first snow of the season comes, the snow clings to them, turning them white with flakes that sparkle in the sun. It is such a lovely sight! To make it even sweeter, it isn’t unusual to see a Cardinal come and take a rest on the snow covered limbs.
This banner is designed to capture the magic of winter that I am so luck to enjoy outside my window. I hope that the design with the subtle bits of sparkle feel as magical to you as it does to me!
